Ringling College of Art and Design is proud to announce that illustration graduate Jordie Bellaire of Orlando, FL has received the 2014 Eisner Award. The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are considered the “Oscars” of the comics world, and Jordie’s coloring work on comic book titles, including "The Manhattan Projects," "Nowhere Men," and many more.
For the fourth time since its inception in 2007, a Ringling College of Art and Design rising senior illustrator has been awarded The Society of Illustrators' Zankel Scholarship, the most prestigious student scholarship in the discipline!
Ringing College of Art and Design was listed on The Hollywood Reporter's Top 25 U.S. Film Schools list for the third time in four years.
Two Ringling College students from the Photography and Digital Imaging (PDI) major were awarded scholarships from the International Center for Photography (ICP).
Three Ringling College alumni won Emmy® awards at the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy® Awards. Congrats to Kevin Leman, Limbert Fabian, and Brandon Oldenburg.
Artist, successful businesswoman, internet sensation and self-described “artrepreneur” Michelle Phan has one more accolade to add to her resume: an Honorary Doctorate of Arts in the Business of Art & Design from Ringling College of Art and Design.
28 Ringling students were accepted into the exhibition with a total of 34 winning entries selected by a jury of professional peers including illustrators and art directors.
