Broadcast Design/Motion Graphics - Beginning in Fall 2009

Combining skills in visual communication and animation, broadcast designers are involved in all aspects of electronic design for the broadcast, broadband, commercial and multimedia world.

As a Broadcast Design/Motion Graphics major, you’ll design, create and integrate animation, imagery, typography, video and sound. You’ll learn how to netcast, podcast and hyperdistribute media works using iTunes, BitTorrent and the Web. In your senior year, you’ll create a simulated TV broadcast or corporate presentation that demonstrates your understanding of the major areas within broadcast design: promotions, show programming and commercial.
