There is, at the beginning, an empty space - and a world of infinite possibilities. Through a creative process learned in your classes, you begin to visualize and apply elements such as color, texture, form, and light, and that empty space becomes a space of functional and beautiful art. As a Ringling College of Art and Design Interior Design major, you will use the latest version of CADD and visualization software to translate your designs to both real and virtual environments.

Experience the satisfaction of designing spaces that solve problems, fulfill needs and create visual excitement. Analyze existing spaces and study plans for future buildings, and then help design them as you believe they could and should be. Ringling College's program offers student chapters of the American Society of Interior Designers [ASID], the International Interior Design Association [IIDA] and Emerging Green Builders, [EGB} and is accredited at the first professional degree level by the The Council for Interior Design Accreditation [CIDA], uniquely preparing graduates to enter the professional world of Interior Design.
