A Notebook Computer for Every Student

Ringling College of Art and Design is the only art college that provides every student with a MacBook Pro notebook computer, free of charge, for the duration of their enrollment at Ringling.

We understand that an artist’s success in today’s competitive world depends on both creative vision and expertise with technology. Ringling College is committed to providing students with knowledge and technical experience needed for lifelong learning. We believe that continued use of the notebook can enhance that adventure.

What’s Included:
The Apple MacBook Pro notebook computer is suitable for general purpose and discipline-specific academic computing needs. Each notebook computer comes with a standard software suite, which includes: email, web browser, and iLife (iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, iWeb, and GarageBand). The notebook program provides NeoOffice and Adobe Creative Suite software in addition to the standard software suite. Wireless connectivity is available across campus for use with mobile devices, including the MacBook Pro.
