Romanian Artifacts on Display

In conjunction with the Selby Gallery exhibit "Traces: Contemporary Romanian Art," Kimbrough Library has a display of Romanian artifacts and travel memorabilia on loan from Dr. Ann Albritton / Liberal Arts. She worked with the CEP (Civic Education Project) Romania in Bucharest from 1993-1995. One highlight of her work there was a trip she organized with a French colleague to travel with 36 Romanian art/art history students and two professors from Bucharest to Paris in 1995. Romanian artifacts as well as handmade postcards sent to Dr. Albritton in appreciation of the event will be on display in the library until December 16, 2008.
