Ringling College of Art and Design will change the way you see. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program is a four-year sequence of studio art, art history and liberal arts courses designed to prepare you for life as a professional artist or designer. You値l learn from instructors with years of experience in their profession and an amazing dedication to passing their knowledge on to you. You値l begin in the Core Studios Program, where you値l take courses in drawing, figure, color and design as well as one or more introductory courses in your chosen major. Beginning in the second year, all of your studio courses will be within your major except for elective courses. You can use electives to pursue a minor or to develop another area of interest. In liberal arts courses, you値l understand that great art comes from great ideas, and that as an artist-citizen, you have tremendous potential to make a difference in the world. We値l challenge you to develop resources you never knew you had.
