Painting -Beginning in Fall 2008

(The new painting major is an expansion of the emphasis in painting that has existed in Fine Arts for decades.)

Ringling College's new Painting major allows you to develop a comprehensive range of skills, knowledge and competencies within painting/drawing. You'll be introduced to a wide range of both traditional painting conventions and more contemporary methods and forms. The curriculum provides a wide array of artistic experiences ranging from figurative and landscape painting options to abstraction, collaboration, performance, installation, and time based art.
