Cocurricular Transcripts
The Office of Student Life assists students in creating a cocurricular transcript. This document supplements your academic transcript and provides an official record of your awards and activities while enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design. These credentials may be used when applying for jobs, graduate work, fellowships, and other postgraduate opportunities.
Student Organizations
Animé Club
This club's primary mission is to give access and information on animé -- Japanese animation-- and to promote awareness and knowledge of this type of animation through regular viewings and meetings.
Anthropomorphic Ringling Fan Club
This group of students seeks to increase animal awareness and opportunities to draw animals on campus.
ASID & Other Professional Organizations
ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) is a professional organization that provides Interior Design students contact and interaction with practitioners through interior design projects, discussions, field trips, and social activities. Campus Ministry
Offering support for students seeking spiritual development or grounding in their own faith communities, Campus Ministry provides programming, on-campus pastoral presence and religious services.
Chess Club
This club works to unite serious chess players on the Ringling College campus. All levels of interest and experience are welcome.
Dance Club
Offers Latin, Modern, and Hip-Hop dance classes for students of all levels, and plans group performances for Ringling College events.
Emerging Green Builders Organization
Serves to educate students on the environmental responsibility they have as designers and to integrate students into the green building movement.
Epsilon Phi Chi
Epsilon Phi Chi is a multicultural organization whose mission is to promote diversity through culture. Epsilon Phi Chi is proud to participate in organizations that contribute to the growth of our children such as the March of Dimes and Save the Children.
FEWS
FEWS (Figure Enhancement With Students) serves as an outlet for students to enhance their figure drawing skills and work cohesively to support student leadership development. For more on FEWS, visit http://www.fews.ringling.edu/.
FOCAS
FOCAS (Fellowship of Christian Art Students) is a part of the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship that meets every week for Bible studies, music, and social activities.
Intramural Sports
Student- and staff-organized sports include intramural volleyball and basketball, which are played on campus. League soccer and softball teams are available to students to play other teams within the county.
Martial Arts
The primary focus of the Martial Arts class is training in Korean Karate, consisting of two techniques, Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do. Both techniques are designed as nonviolent arts. Each art also serves as a system of complete body exercise and self-defense, while building mental discipline and self-confidence.
MIP (Meaning=Image=Process)
This group assists in the development of a Fine Arts community outside of the classroom. Members assist students in the visual language and understanding of their work.
Nontraditional Students
For students aged 25 and older upon entry, luncheons and other get-togethers offer a chance to meet with other older students for discussion, programs, and social interaction.
Pride
Pride is an informal social group whose members meet to discuss issues involving sexual diversity. This peer support group also attempts to educate through social interaction, listening, and communicating with one another.
REACH
REACH (Ringling Educating About Campus Health) actively promotes college health awareness through social and educational programs. REACH also provides a forum for students, parents, and staff to voice their concerns about health-related issues.
Ringling Ambassadors
These upper-class students have been recognized by faculty and staff as exemplary members of the Ringling College community. They serve as campus tour guides, student hosts for various formal functions, and assist the Office of Admissions, Development and Alumni Relations, and Student Life when student representatives are needed.
Ringling Gaming Club

Sigma Sigma Sigma

Skateboarding Club
This club seeks to establish a community of people who enjoy participating in skateboarding, rollerblading, and biking activities.
Soccer Club
The Soccer Club seeks to increase health, stamina, and strength through playing soccer. It offers an opportunity to exercise and build self-confidence and leadership skills.
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) seeks to stimulate student leadership and acts as a unifying voice in raising ideas and awareness of issues which affect all students. SGA acts as a forum for communication among all student constituencies.
Spirit and Truth
Spirit and Truth is the Ringling College Catholic club. The group seeks to provide services and support for students of faith.
Stitch and Kitch
Provides students, staff, and faculty with an opportunity to enhance their knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and sewing skills.
Volunteerism
The Office of Volunteer Activities is the campus resource for those interested in community service. Students can participate in the College's outreach programs, paint murals for non-profit organizations, get professional experience by volunteering in their fields, or help with other numerous projects that help our community.
