Back Safety and Safe Lifting Training
This online training session provides guidance to help prevent back injuries and information on techniques for safe lifting. The session examines:
Anatomy of the back;
Mechanics of the back;
Lifting and carrying safely;
Assessment of lifting risks and
How to prevent back injuries.
Who Should Participate?
Mandatory for employees required to lift as part of their employment. Supervisors will be notified of employees requiring this training.
Also available to all employees.
