Sun Safety and Heat Stress Training
These two on-line sessions provide health and safety information to anyone that works outside as part of their job. The sun safety presentation reviews the different types of UV radiation, the effects of UV exposure and the guidelines for protection. The heat stress prevention training examines, what is heat stress, the causes of heat stress, first aid and prevention methods.
Who Should Attend?
Mandatory for all Public Safety, Maintenance Staff and Landscape Staff. Assists others in understanding the health and safety hazards associated with working outside.
