Reenie Page is the Office Manager for Student Health Services and has been at Ringling College for 19 years. After earning her B.A. in Elementary Education from Antioch College, she worked in two private boarding schools in New England as an English teacher, librarian, and houseparent.  Her professional background also includes experience as an international group travel specialist in a travel agency handling cross-cultural and educational programs.  Reenie previously taught Batik and is an avid collector of student art. In her free time, she enjoys filmmaking, playing with her four grandchildren, and walking her rescue dog, Fletcher.

Melanie Stawkey is the Coordinator of Recreation and Wellness. She received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She oversees the Susan Palmer Fitness Center, as well as recreational and wellness activities both on and off campus. She is also certified to teach Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED and is a NIRSA Sustainability Ambassador. Her personal interests include biking, music, and exploring the outdoors.   

Nancy Long, LMHC serves as an Associate Director of Counseling and holds a Florida Mental Health Counselor License. She has 23 years of college counseling experience with prior work in the area of Domestic Violence, Rape and Substance Abuse. She completed her undergraduate degree in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters in Humanistic Psychology at West Georgia. Her theoretical orientation is eclectic drawing from psychodynamic, experiential, systems and existential frameworks. Nancy incorporates cognitive-behavioral, guided imagery, and gestalt techniques in her clinical work with students. Her professional interests include trauma recovery and mindfulness training. She enjoys meditation, traveling, being in nature, dance, spending time with family, friends and her dog.

Dr. Ken Mroz is Associate Director of Counseling and a staff therapist at the Peterson Counseling Center. He received his doctorate in Family Psychology, from the Union Institute and University, Cincinnati Ohio, his Master of Social Work from Adelphi University, Garden City Long Island, NY. Dr. Mroz specializes in individual, group, and couples therapy; crisis and anger management, anxiety/depression and stress management. His interests also include, program development, outreach work, diversity issues; substance abuse treatment and prevention. He uses an eclectic therapeutic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement and Solution Focused Therapy techniques to achieve positive outcomes for student to support their academic success and foster their retention. His personal interests include travel, sports, scuba diving, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.

Nancy I. Zlatkin, Psy.D. is an Associate Director of Counseling and Staff Therapist in the Peterson Counseling Center. She received her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She provides both individual and group psychotherapy in addition to couples counseling. Her theoretical orientation is 3rd wave cognitive-behavioral, with an integration of interpersonal, solution-focused and positive psychology interventions. Her professional interests include trauma recovery, identity development, sexual and gender diversity, personality disorders, and outreach program development. Through a collaborative, holistic approach, Dr. Zlatkin emphasizes the resilience and strengths of each individual to maximize one’s potential, and overall well-being.

Dr. Brian J. Mistler is Associate Dean of Students and the Director of Health Services. Dr. Mistler is a licensed clinical psychologist, having received his master’s degree at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Mistler serves on the National Advisory Board for the Center for College Mental Health (CCMH), as a Principal Investigator for the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors (AAUCCCD) national benchmarking data analysis, on the Directorate of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Conduct and Legal Issues Commission, and on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice. Brian is also an instructor for American Red Cross Emergency Mental Health staff and on the faculty of the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals (NAPSA) Legal Issues in Higher Education Certificate Program. When not in the office, Brian enjoys Sarasota's beautiful beaches and wonderful cultural opportunities.
