Mailbox Assignment and Policy
Once assigned, your mailbox is your responsibility for the rest of your school duration. Clean it out regularly as an overload of mail can cause the door to jam or break. Never leave the box unattended or share your combination with anyone. For mailbox repair issues, please contact Ringling College Mail Services so that the repair can be logged and maintained as soon as possible.
Where do I get my mailbox assignment and combination?
Go to the Campus Mail Services Office, located on the first floor of the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Hall (on the corner of Old Bradenton Road and Greensboro Lane) and ask to speak to the supervisor or the assistant for an assignment.
Package Delivery For Students
All campus mail/packages are received by 12pm and are ready for distribution by 3pm of the same day.
How do I receive my packages?
When packages arrive, they are electronically scanned into our internal tracking system and an email is sent directly to your c.ringling.edu email address. Make sure you check your email for these alerts titled "Ringling College Mail Services - You've Got A Package". The recipient of the email alert will need to come to the Mail Services window with your official Ringling College I.D. to verify your identification where you will then be asked for your signature to release your package.
Package Delivery For Faculty/Staff
When packages arrive, they are electronically scanned into our internal tracking system and an email is sent directly to your email address. The package is then held in the Faculty/Staff Mail Services Office until a designee of that department signs for the package at the time of pick-up.
Forwarding Mail
The Ringling Mail Services will forward all first class, periodicals and US Postal packages. Private couriers such as UPS and Fed-Ex do not have forwarding services and it is your responsibility to call such companies and have your packages forwarded.
What should I do if I graduate or withdraw from school?
It is your responsibility to complete a forwarding form (found on this site or at the Student Mail Services - Service window) prior to leaving school. Please make arrangements with private courier services to forward any items that are enroute.
What if I am a returning summer student?
Students leaving for the summer should complete a forwarding form (found on this site or at the Student Mail Services - Service Window) 1-2 weeks before the end of the Spring Semester. Keep in mind that anything delivered by private couriers cannot be forwarded. Those items will remain at school until your return in the Fall.
What if I have an international address or study abroad?
Please notify all friends, family, businesses and other frequent correspondents of your international address. Ringling Mail Services does not forward international mail.
Changes in Faculty/Staff addresses need to refer to the Department of Human Resources.
