    Ringling College Fine Arts Alumna Receives Honorable Mention for International Sculpture Award

    June 30, 2010 - Ringling College Fine Arts alumna Mikaela Williams was awarded honorable mention in the 2010 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Awards.  This award honors Mikaela's entire body of work as an outstanding artist.

    The Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Awards is presented annually by the International Sculpture Center (ISC).  ISC received a total of 445 student nominated works, where they chose 20 winners and 15 honorable mentions, making Mikaela's work in the top 8%.  

    Mikaela will be recognized in the October issue of Sculpture magazine and will also receive recognition in the Fall/Winter Exhibition catalog published by Grounds for Sculpture.
