    Ringling GIC Students Win IoPP "Re-Pack" 48 HR Student Design Competition
    May 11, 2010 -Three Ringling GIC (Graphic & Interactive Communication) students placed in the top 10 in the 2010 IoPP "Re-Pack" 48  HR Student Design competition.

    Ringling students Drew Rios (GIC, 2012) & Alex Garey (GIC, 2012) won 2nd place in the competition for their re-design of Tabulart 200% recyclable bottles and were awarded $500.   Jamie Williams (GIC, 2010) placed in the top 10.

    The "Re-Pack" competition was designed for college students to allow them to re-design the packaging of a product that they think needs improved.  They have only 48 hours to complete the re-design before they have to turn their project over to the judges.
