    Sarasota’s S/ART/Q Welcomes Three New Ringling College Alumni Artists

    August 25, 2011 - S/ART/Q, known for their one-of-a-kind local contemporary art events, has expanded its group for the first time ever, adding four accomplished professional artists to its mix – and three of these four new artists are Ringling College alumni.  While living and working in Sarasota County, these new S/ART/Q artists provide an exciting range of creative disciplines, professionalism, and experiences.

    Currently 8 of the 13 S/ART/Q artists are Ringling College alumni, while 5 of the 13 artists are Ringling College faculty.  S/ART/Q is excited to start the new season with new faces. The energized circle of artists looks forward to their upcoming Fall exhibit planned for November 2011.  The new artists added to the S/ART/Q group and their featured pieces include:
