    TWO Ringling College Students Awarded Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship

    July 30, 2012 - Two Ringling College students have been awarded a Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship - Gabriella Thompson ('14, Graphic & Interactive Communications) and Kyle Lopez ('16, Computer Animation).  These two students were chosen out of over 400 applicants, with only 16 other students receiving this honor nationwide.

    About the Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship

    The 2012–2013 Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship jurors met in May 2012 and reviewed more than 400 applications from students attending art and design programs at colleges and universities across the country. Eighteen scholarships and six honorable mentions were granted to an outstanding group of applicants, in five categories, through the generous support of sponsors including the AIGA DC Continuum Fund Scholarship, Coyne Family Foundation, Kraus Family Foundation, Shutterstock, the Young Photographer’s Alliance and an anonymous donor.
