NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION: 

FALL 2013 SEMESTER:

Ringling College of Art and Design plans a comprehensive New Student Orientation program prior to the start of the academic year. It includes recreational and academic-oriented events and activities designed to answer a variety of questions about life at Ringling College. Sessions include information for new students, transfer students, international students, parents, and families.

This fall, New Student Orientation begins on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for NEW International students.  

Resident student move-in begins Wednesday, August 14 at 8:30 a.m.  

Commuter and Resident student processing/check-in begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 15. 

Orientation runs through Sunday, August 18, 2013.

International students may begin checking in on the morning of Monday, August 12, and those who are on-campus international resident students will be permitted to move into their residence halls on Sunday, August 11.

Parents Orientation activities will end on Friday evening, August 16,2013.

A detailed Welcome Packet mailing will be sent out the beginning of June 2012 to students and families. Please, contact nso@ringling.edu with questions/concerns.

SPRING 2014 SEMESTER:

This Spring, a New Student Orientation Luncheon will occur on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. It will take place on the first floor of the Ann & Alfred Goldstein Hall Student Smart Room during the student lunch hour 11:20am-12:30pm. We encourage all new students to attend!
