By Providing a variety of specially-sculpted group fitness classes to choose from, we believe that we can meet the needs of each and every individual regardless of "athletic" capabilities. From the very beginner to the advanced extremist, we offer a class for you! Whether you want to increase your cardiovascular endurance, increase your lean muscle mass, reduce body fat, destress, or just add a little spice to your life, we can help you!
Outdoor Recreation
Outdoor Recreation at Ringling College of Art and Design is committed to providing a fun, challenging, and affordable experiences to engage its students in educational and recreational opportunities in the beautiful Southwest Florida environment. Examples include kayaking, rock climbing, running, scuba diving and possible mountain biking this year. Whether you want an exciting recreational activity, a chance to learn new skills, the opportunity to meet new people, or simply to take a break from academics, Outdoor Recreation might be just for you!
This department serves as a health and wellness resource for students and the entire campus community providing quality outreach education on all aspects of wellness. We play an integral part in promoting responsible decision making and positive lifestyle choices.
Club Sports
Club Sport program is designed to serve individual interests in different sports and recreational activities. Participation in the program enhances and promotes the element of good sportsmanship, the development of skills, the well-being derived from physical activity, and the social aspect within each sport. We offer Basketball, Flag Football, Quidditch and Soccer for club sports. If you wish to start a new club, please contact Michelle Puls.
Equipment Orientations
This is a free service for all students, faculty, and staff designed to provide beginner fitness participants the opportunity to learn about the fitness center and how to correctly use the fitness equipment.
