Student Activities and Leadership

The Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development supports both the Department of Student Life and Ringling College of Art and Design by providing students the opportunity to experience college in a way that expands beyond academics. Student Activities and Leadership Development strives to offer a relaxing social environment that is essential for today’s college students while promoting a balance between educational, cultural, developmental, and social components.

Student Activities has kicked the semester off running with over 30 clubs and a flourishing Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Student Government Association (SGA). CAB is working hard to organize a fun packed schedule, in addition to monthly leadership workshops and bus trips. Student Activities has worked to develop a full schedule of events for the 2013-14 school year! Some of these events include: Coffee Houses, Club Events, Pre-Released Movies, Bon Fires, and Dances. We will also be bringing back Food Bingo and bringing in some new musical artists and a comedian in the spring semester. Check out the Programming link below for the full spring list of student activities and CAB events!

If you have any ideas for future events, feel free to come to a CAB meeting! They are held every Wednesday at 10:00pm in the Goldstein Hall Student Smart Room, or you can e-mail with your ideas!
