Leadership Development
Leadership Development
Becoming a leader on campus is another way to continue your experiential education outside of the classroom. These opportunities will not only add to your experience on campus, but will prepare you for your next steps after graduation by enhancing your resume. These valuable opportunities include: leadership workshops, Student Government Association, or taking a leadership role in a club or organization. These opportunities will demonstrate to future employers your ability to time manage, your level of responsibility, and your ability to be a team player!

Co-curricular Transcripts
The Office of Student Life assists students in creating a co-curricular transcript. This document supplements your academic transcript and provides an official record of your awards and activities while enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design. These credentials may be used when applying for jobs, graduate work, fellowships, and other postgraduate opportunities.
Student Conferences
In the past, students have attended the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). NACA is dedicated to providing leadership training and programming opportunities to students and staff from colleges and universities around the country. Five Ringling students were chosen from a field of candidates to represent the college at this year’s convention. The students took on the task to choose programs for the academic year and attend various workshops to enhance their leadership potential.
Students will once again be attending the national conference in Spring 2012 to bring the campus new programming! The NACA National Convention will be held from February 16-20 in Nashville, TN.
