Student Trips

    Student Bus Trips

Student Activities offers various student trips throughout the year at a discounted price. Trips are provided for both enjoyment and to offer opportunities to continue developing skills and learning outside of the classroom. Many of our trips offer great opportunities for figure, costume, and life studies.

The trips planned for the 2012-12 academic year include:

October 6: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal - Orlando

December 8: Miami Art Basel in Miami, FL (in collaboration with Academic Affairs)

TBD in the Spring Semester: Ellenton Ice Rink

March 23: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom

Tickets for trips, if required, are sold out of the Office of Student Life. They are first come, first serve and students must sign an agreement to take provided transportation.

    Alternative Spring Break

Spring break this year will be from March 4-8, 2013. The Office of Volunteerism and Service Learning is coordinating an alternative break to work with non-profit organizations in the local Sarasota community.

In previous years, the Office of Student Life has coordinated an alternative spring break option to Colorado. The students stayed at the Breckenridge Ski Resort and assisted with children’s adapted ski lessons hosted by the resorts ski school, as well as a trip to Mexico. We look to continue this option in the future with an alternative spring break location for students.
