Adam Hartlaub, Illustration student, Makes Appearance on TV Show
Adam was filmed on a show entitled "You Gotta Have Art" hosted by Wendy Heiges of the Adams County Arts Council in Adams/York County, PA. While on the show he was able to promote his classes as well as the children's books that he's writing and illustrating.

Adam was also published in a local newspaper in Gettysburg, PA "The Gettysburg Times" as part of the Adams County Arts Council also located in Gettysburg, PA to promote the classes that he and other teachers are teaching there. The gallery show they held for the teachers lead to the attention of being on the television show, as well as the attention of another local newspaper called the Hanover Evening Sun which wants to write an article about Adam as a young up-and-coming artist as well.
Ringling College Alumnus Wins 'Best Short of 2012'
Ringilng College alumnus Sean Benson ('12 Digital Film) won "Best Short of 2012" from FMPTA's Crystal Reel Awards in November for his 2012 senior thesis film. This award is earned for excellence in short movie making in the state of Florida.

Elena De La Ville
Ms. De La Ville has had two pieces chosen for the exhibit "Swept Away: Translucence, Transparence, Transcendence in Contemporary Encaustic" at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, which will open its doors to the exhibit on May 18, 2013. This is the first museum in the region to feature encaustic painting in a dedicated exhibition, and the first anywhere to focus on a particular and noteworthy aspect of the medium: its extravagant quality of light. Thirty-one artists from around the country, all masters of the medium, have been invited by Michael Giaquinto, curator of exhibitions at the museum. Some 50 paintings, sculptures and prints reflecting a range of thematic expression will be shown.
Dates: May 18 - June 23, 2013
Reception with the artists: Sunday, June 2, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Ryan G. Van Cleave, Liberal Arts professor and Coordinator of Creative Writing
Ryan recently received a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship.
