PreCollege Perspective is a four-week intensive that provides high school students with focused and challenging artistic experiences in a structured, rigorous program that integrates fundamental studio practices with major-specific immersions and a robust student life program. This year PreCollege takes place June 24 – July 21, 2012.

The Ringling College of Art and Design Teacher Institute taking place July 8 – 14, 2012, offers an exciting curriculum integrating multiple competencies to improve both pedagogical approaches and personal practice. This weeklong institute fosters a collegial environment of creative exploration that provides a unique opportunity for immersion into new and traditional art processes. Reserve now. Space is limited.
The Ringling College Library Association, established in 1975, is a separate not-for-profit organization dedicated to the on-going development of Verman Kimbrough Memorial Library at Ringling College of Art and Design, and acts as a catalyst for the educational growth of students, faculty and community. The Library Association produces the premier Town Hall Lecture series.

Ringling College Location & Directions
The main entrance to the Ringling College of Art and Design is 1/2 block east from the corner of U.S. 41/North Tamiami Trail and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Sarasota.
From U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail, turn east onto Dr. MLK Jr. Way. Visitor parking is available on the right-hand side of the street. The Academic Center is a five-story green glass building accessible through the parking lots to the south. Look for the special event signs.
