We offer a number of opportunities for students looking to travel and study at other institutions in the US, whether that be pursing your advanced degree or enjoying a semester on another campus. We support your curiosity and want to help get you there.

 

International Center for Photography

Select students from the Photography & Digital Imaging program have the option to participate in a one-year certificate program at the International Center for Photography (ICP) in Manhattan, NY. Only four other colleges in the US offer this exclusive, highly competitive residency. The ICP complex includes unrivaled, professional facilities for film, digital, and video, a research center with over 150,000 original photographs, a museum, and exhibition galleries. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring photographers and digital artists to work with the best of the best and get inspired in one of the most energetic, arts-oriented cities in the world.


AICAD Mobility Program

Ringling College is a member of AICAD’s Mobility Program, which provides the opportunity for full-time juniors in good standing, to study for one semester at any one of the following schools:

Mobility is open to students with a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0.  Tuition is paid to Ringling College.  Other costs are paid to the hosting institution.  Grades received become part of the student’s official record at Ringling College.


Masters of Arts in Teaching Program

Low Residency MAT Program

Are you passionate about teaching the next generation of artists and designers? Ringling College has partnered with the Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) to provide our students with the unique opportunity to participate in a two year, low-residency Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. Students start the program in the summer between their junior and senior years studying on the gorgeous Montpelier, Vermont campus to fast-track their MAT ambitions. Upon graduating from Ringling students return to VCFA to complete the MAT program. Tailored specifically for artists and designers who want to teach PK-12, this program is flexible in nature, combining summer terms with Fall and Spring semesters.
