The Center for Career Services plans events to enhance curriculum and provide opportunities for students to grow beyond the classroom experience. DREAMWORKS ARTIST PRESENTATION
DreamWorks animator, Drew Adams
Thursday, April 9th
Drew Adams is currently a Character Animator for DreamWork's Animation, having most recently animated on the character Sherman for the feature "Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
Following graduation from Ryman Arts and two years at CalArt's Character Animation program, Drew joined Disney Feature Animation in 1999 as a clean-up artist for "Atlantis", "Treasure Planet," and "Home on the Range." As feature animation shifted mediums, Drew made the transition into CG animation working at Duncan Studio on Tim Burton's feature film "9" and various DreamWork's titles including: "Kung Fu Panda 2," "Puss in Boots," "Rise of the Guardians," and "The Croods.'
Outside of animating, Drew has been teaching Advanced Body Mechanics with Animation Mentor for the last 7 years.
