James Krause, B.A., M.S., D.B.A.
Program Coordinator
Walsh College of Accountancy, Troy, MI (Accountancy); Walsh College of Accountancy, Troy, MI (Professional Accountancy); Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Business Administration, Finance & Accounting). Dr. Krause served as department chair of the Accounting Department at the University of Tampa, where he has taught for the past 23 years. In addition to teaching courses at the undergraduate level, he also has experience in developing curricula, including new degree programs at the graduate level. Dr. Krause has been recognized five times since 1994 as Teacher of the Year by the undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business.
Wanda Chaves, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.
University of Tampa (Psychology/French; Minor - English & Literature); University of South Florida (Industrial Organizational Psychology); University of South Florida (Philosophy). Dr. Chaves taught for six years in the MBA and undergraduate programs in the Management Department at the University of Tampa. She has designed, developed, and taught courses in Organizational Behavior, International Management, Human Resource Management, Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, Psychology of Gender, Introduction to Psychology, and an Advanced Leadership course around the Cirque du Soleil organization. Past employers and clients include Walt Disney World Company, Boeing Commercial Airlines, Deutsche Bank, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. She is the author of many publications and the recipient of several fellowships and awards, including the College of Business Teacher of the Year Award (2004). Dr. Chaves is the Founder of The CREO Institute and teaches creativity workshops in different countries to assist individuals in developing their creative potential in order to achieve better, more fulfilling lives for themselves and others. The CREO Institute also supports individuals and organizations that are working to find creative, sustainable solutions to social, economic and environmental problems.

Rakefet Bachur-Cohen, B.A., M.S.
The College of Management, School of Media Studies, Tel Aviv, Israel (Media and Management); University of Tampa, John H. Sykes School of Business (Marketing). Rakefet has ten years of work experience as a marketing professional in the U.S, Europe and the Middle East. She is currently employed by BayCare Health System, a Florida-based health care services company, and is a member of the company's strategic marketing planning team. Rakefet is bi-lingual and is involved locally in projects promoting corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
Tamara Chesney, B.F.A., M.B.A., M.P.M.
Ringling College of Art and Design (Interior Design); Keller Graduate School of Management, Cleveland, OH. Ms. Horbal has 18 years of interior design experience and is a licensed and NCIDQ certified commercial interior designer. She has acted as a Senior Project Manager for Vocon Design Inc., a large Cleveland, OH based interior architecture firm. In 2007 she established ID ∙ology Inc., a commercial interior design firm that focuses on strategic planning for long-term real estate and facility growth. Ms. Horbal is currently working toward a Ph.D. of Business and Organization Management with a focus of studies on Project Management from Capella University.
Mark Ormond, B.A., M.A.
Curator of Exhibitions, Ringling College Galleries
University of Pennsylvania (Art History); George Washington University (Art History; Minor - Museum Studies). Graduate of Museum Management Institute at University of California at Berkeley. Former Director of the Center for the Fine Arts, Miami; Deputy Director for Collections & Programs and Senior Curator, John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Over 25 years of professional experience in museum management, museum studies, and as an art historian and curator. Author, editor and contributor of art criticism, catalogue essays and monographs on contemporary art and architecture. In addition to teaching courses about the business of contemporary fine arts and the curatorial role of the independent artist, Mark oversees and directs the activities and operations of Crossley Gallery and supports satellite exhibition venues.
Gina Powell-Ribeiro, B.A.
Illinois Institute of Technology (Psychology; Minor - Sociology). Ms. Ribeiro has more than 25 years of experience as a leader and organizational development (OD) professional specializing in strategy/business development, operations planning, process design, and human resources. She has a broad and multi-disciplinary background working across several industries for companies such as MCI Telecommunications, American Express, and BankFirst. For the past 11 years, Ms. Ribeiro was a Project Manager/OD Consultant at Disney in Orlando. In addition, she has worked as an independent consultant/entrepreneur where she applied the creative process for problem solving, organization, and personal development. She has a history of passion and practical experience bridging the arts and business for unleashing individual potential.
