Each academic year, Ringling College hosts a variety of events, both on- and off-campus, for prospective students and their families. Be sure to check this page often, and click on "join our mailing list" to receive updated information and invitations.
On-Campus Events
Open Houses
Open Houses are held on campus on selected weekends in the fall and spring semesters. Meet our students and faculty, learn all about our majors, tour the campus, and find out how to create a terrific portfolio. Optional, informal portfolio reviews with Ringling faculty are also available. Check back for details about upcoming open houses in the 2013-14 academic year.

Off-Campus Events
"Discover Ringling" Information Sessions
An opportunity to meet Admissions staff and learn more about Ringling College of Art and Design. We will also discuss the application process and share tips on portfolio preparation using examples submitted by high school students, but individual portfolio reviews will not be available at these events unless indicated. RSVP is required. More events will be posted, so check back for information!
All prospective students who attend a Discover Ringling event will receive a waiver of the $70 application fee if they apply to the Bachelor's degree program.

National Portfolio Days
National Portfolio Days provide opportunities for students who are interested in studying art or design to meet with representatives from NASAD-accredited colleges from throughout North America. They are held in major cities each academic year, beginning in September and ending in January. All are free and open to the public. RSVP is not required.
