Jeff Markowsky

$350 (workshop cannot be prorated for a shorter term)

Wednesday – Friday, December 9, 10, 11, 2015
Location: the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast’s Bay Preserve in Osprey, FL

Jeff Markowsky is equal parts academically trained artist/instructor and avid outdoorsman, traveling by truck and camping throughout the country, painting the landscape in all of its splendor.   In this three day workshop, the motto will be paint fast, paint small and travel light.  Working at Bay Preserve and surrounding sites, the lessons will emphasize speeding up your plein air painting process by working small, within a limited time and in rapid secession in order to better understand the process for larger paintings. The workshop is open to painters of all levels but especially geared for beginners and novice painters looking to accelerate their growth and development. More sustained, larger paintings will also be incorporated on the third day.
