This Fall, stop by to participate in our 6th Annual AGELESS CREATIVITY Exhibition, Awards, and Events. Our theme, Longboat Key Luminaries, recognizes visual and performing artists who demonstrate mastery and discipline in the pursuit of their art form, choose the creative process as an integral part of their lives, and maintain strong ties to the Longboat Key community.

We will celebrate these artists through our annual exhibition, a concert, a series of honoree-led workshops, a panel discussion led by Tom Esselman, CEO, Institute for the Ages, and more.

Message from the Director:

The Longboat Key Center for the Arts invites you to experience the arts through an impressive lineup of compelling exhibitions, exciting master classes, and inspiring community arts classes.  This season’s theme, radiant HEATtranslucent LIGHT, luminous WATER, promises to engage your intellect and ignite your creative passions.  Whether you are a beginning artist, an experienced practitioner, or an arts enthusiast, our diverse programming has something for everyone.

The Longboat Key Center for the Arts is proud to serve as a vital creative hub for the Gulf Coast community, and beyond.  I welcome you to browse through our offerings, take a class, join us at a reception, or enter an exhibition.  Be sure to register for classes early, as many have limited space and fill quickly.

Creativity, Culture and Community is our passion.  Come join us!
