Julie (Miller) Kanapaux is an honors graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design. She holds a Bachelors in Fine Art Painting, with a minor in Photography and Digital Imaging. She was also a Trustee Scholar and recipient of the school’s prestigious Presidential Sculpture Award, a grant awarded to one student annually. The site-specific sculpture she created, “For the Humans,” has been a permanent exhibit at the Ringling College campus since 1999.
Julie has worked professionally as an Art Gallery Consultant, a Digital Imaging Director for an international numismatic company, and a Graphic Designer/ Art Director at several ad agencies and publishing companies. She currently enjoys her time as a fine artist and freelance graphic designer. Julie resides in Sarasota, FL with her husband and son.
