Fold Formed piece by Donna Carrion

ONE DAY WORKSHOP: FOLD FORMED JEWELRY
Instructor: Donna Carrion
Saturday, February 20, 11am - 4pm
$90 per 5-hour session

Please register in advance.

Fold Forming is an exciting new jewelry technique where sheet metal is folded like paper and manipulated to create textured, three-dimensional organic forms. In this 5-hour session, you will learn to work with your materials, creating ridges and textures that are the hallmark of the Fold Forming technique. With this method, it is possible to create impressive forms in a short amount of time, allowing the student to experiment and learn quickly, as well as complete a finished piece of jewelry within the workshop if that is their goal. Materials are purchased during class. All levels welcome.

Jewelry making is an art form that is grounded in the ability to transform raw materials and create 3-dimensional constructions. Marvel in the experience of changing a flat sheet of metal into a unique, hollow form in the "Hollow Bangle" workshop.
