Ed Brickman

Ed has been designing and making jewelry for the past 66 years.  In 1952, he thought that he would possibly want to make jewelry professionally and work for two of the most renowned silversmiths, Ed Wiener and Henry Steig, both in New York and Provincetown Massachusetts.  After realizing he was a people person and didn’t want to sit at a jeweler’s bench all day making a dozen of these or those of someone else’s design, he went into the threaded fastener business which he has been in for the past 54 years.  During these past 54 years, he hasn’t stopped designing and making hand wrought jewelry.  Pieces of his jewelry are on exhibit at the Newark Museum as a permanent collection and Museum of Art and Design in New York.
