Tony Rich

Tony Rich was drawn into painting at an early age through the summers he and his family spent with Georgia O’Keeffe.

In 1999, Tony resumed his artistic career full time by studying at the Art Students’ League in New York and then at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy, taking courses in painting and drawing.  In 2010 he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving the Outstanding Graduate Student Award.  In 2010, his landscape work was selected in a national competition of over a 1000 MFA’s from schools across the country, for inclusion in the annual MFA Issue of New American Painting.  He has been in numerous group shows, had a solo exhibition as well as an exhibition in Europe. His work is in a number of private and institutional collections.  The Rymer Gallery of Nashville, TN represents him. His work can be seen on his website,
