Supply List for Pastels Building Vibrant Color

  • Your photos
  • Board to work on
  • Newspaper or some paper to use as padding
  • Charcoal, 1 to 2 pieces
  • NU Pastel (hard pastels) box - any size
  • NOTE:  NO OIL PASTELS
  • Soft pastels - a selection of your choice:
    • Grumbacher, Rembrandt, Unison, Sennilier, etc.
  • Paper - Tinted Medium to Dark color (gray, brown, green etc) with tooth.
    • There are many suitable for example:  Canson Mi-Tientes, Colourfix, Wallis, Ersta - your choice
  • Masking tape and/or clamps
  • Any workable fixative small can of Krylon Workable Fixatif, Blair, etc.
