Jewelry Making Using Silver and Brass

Course Description: Build a strong foundation in metal jewelry fabrication in this fun, fast-paced workshop. Using silver or brass as your primary metal, you will explore techniques for creating pins, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and pendants. Beginners will learn basic bench skills, including design, sawing, filing, drilling, texturing and finishing. Intermediate students will add advanced techniques, such as stone setting, to their skill set. All levels are welcome. Small class size ensures ample individual instruction tailored to each student’s level.

Painting The Florida Landscape

Course Description: The unique qualities of the land, water and sky in Florida create both opportunities and challenges for the outdoor painter. This Master Class will focus on approaches for capturing these opportunities through design considerations and painting techniques. There will also be an emphasis on simplifying the painting process, allowing students at all levels to improve their work. Weather permitting, the class will be held outdoors on Longboat Key. In case of rain, students will work in the studio.

Use our professional jewelry studio as your own as you work to complete your jewelry projects or create new ones.  Receive valuable assistance, guidance, and feedback from a professional jeweler.  Students will be encouraged to push their creative vision and to think outside the box when approaching design and fabrication.
