Rebalance Your Life & Reconnect with Your Heart!
A workshop presented by Christine Eisner

Instead of being tangled in a web that drains your energy, how about shifting your perception to create a lifestyle that is as comfortable -- as your favorite pair of jeans?

Everyone knows that life in today’s world can be overwhelming, with obstacles that distract, depress, anger and challenge.  Treat yourself to a right brain experience and set aside the linear thinking of your left brain as you engage in this inspirational and results-oriented workshop.

Forget about “focal points” and analytics and instead discover “campfires”, those irresistible centers of energy that encourage comfort, connection and joy.  Drawing from her work with clients and her critically-acclaimed book, Comfort Living:  A Back-to-Basics Guide to a More Balanced Lifestyle, Christine Eisner will introduce you to her unique, intuitive and practical way of thinking about, talking about and shaping the way you live.

In this very interactive workshop, Christine guide you in making connections between seemingly unconnected elements as you discover:

  • How to minimize the obstacles that get in the way of quality of life
  • Why nature is the most effective tool for creating a more balanced lifestyle
  • How to weave your “treasures” into physical surroundings and daily routines
  • How to create “campfires” that draw you in for positive experiences
  • and along the way, you’ll also find out why everyone always ends up in the kitchen!

It’s all about experiences, not appearances, money or stuff.  You will be surprised at how little it takes to re-think, re-energize and re-balance your life!

*Please bring:

  1. Something that represents one of your “treasures”, whether it is a person, place, memory or object.
  2. A bag lunch that includes one of your favorite foods to share with the group.

“Accessible, practical and possible, Christine Eisner’s Comfort Living offers wisdom and inspiration for us all.  Here inquiries and exercises really make us think about the everyday elements of how and where we live and how easy it can be to transform our homes and our lives for the better.”

-- Frances Schultz, Contributing Editor for House Beautiful magazine

Creating Great Relationships with Family, Friends, Co-Workers, and Others

Have you ever felt that you just didn’t “click” with someone? Or, that your needs were not being understood?

Have you ever had a holiday dinner where you struggled with a particular family member?

Or, been in a restaurant or shop and found that you were not able to have your expectations met?

Have you ever had a business interaction where you felt that you were not able to get through to the other person, or that they were not able to get through to you?

Join us for a highly interactive session where we will explore communication styles using the DiSC , a well known and well researched self awareness tool.

DiSC Dimensions of Behavior provide a nonjudgmental language for exploring behavioral issues across four primary dimensions:

  • Dominance: Direct and Decisive. D’s are strong-willed, strong-minded people who like accepting challenges, taking action, and getting immediate results.
  • Influence: Optimistic and Outgoing. i’s are “people people” who like participating on teams, sharing ideas, and energizing and entertaining others.
  • Steadiness: Sympathetic and Cooperative. S’s are helpful people who like working behind the scenes, performing in consistent and predictable ways, and being good listeners.
  • Conscientiousness: Concerned and Correct. C’s are sticklers for quality and like planning ahead, employing systematic approaches, and checking and re-checking for accuracy.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take the accredited DiSC tool
  • Better understand your own behavior
  • Better understand the behavior of others
  • Learn how and when to adapt your behavior
