Elaine Keating has been a resident of Sarasota for over 25 years. Before coming to Florida, she lived in Chicago where she taught in the public school system and worked as a realtor. For 25 years, Elaine held the position of president of E. Mason, Inc., Chicago, an income tax service with 30 offices and over 200 employees.

Elaine has served on the boards of MOTE Marine Lab, Sarasota Ballet, New College, WEDU Public Television, Ringling College of Art and Design and for the last five years as a member of the SMOA board.
