John Meyer spent forty years operating and growing an animal by-products recycling business. It was headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was active in the National Rendering Association serving on many committees during his career.

A life long resident of Green Bay, he was active in many community organizations. He especially enjoyed serving as board president of Abbott Penning’s Prep School for two terms.

John retired four years ago. At that time he was asked to be a board member of SMOA. He and his wife, Mary Ann, spend eight months in Sarasota and four months at their summer home in Door County, Wisconsin.
