The Computer Animation program at Ringling College of Art and Design is ranked #1 in North America by 3D World magazine for the second year in a row! 3D World is an international magazine for 3D artists.
In Ringling College of Art and Design's deep and specialized four-year Computer Animation degree program, you will develop skills in modeling, lighting, motion and sound - while learning how to tell a story. At the same time, you will gain command of the technical skills required in today's highly competitive animation industry.

The application deadline for admission to the Computer Animation major is January 15 for the following fall semester. All other majors have rolling admissions.

Two Student Animations Nominated for Annie Awards
The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, has announced the nominations for its 40th Annual Annie Awards, recognizing the year’s best in the field of animation. Two Ringling College of Art and Design student thesis films have been nominated for Best Student Film.
Eric Prah Wins Ringling College's 9th Student Academy Award
Ringling College alumni Eric Prah ('12, Computer Animation) was awarded a Student Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his senior thesis animation, "My Little Friend."
