Reshape traditional artistic techniques for our technologically advanced era.
As a Fine Arts major at Ringling College of Art and Design, you are a pioneer of new artistic terrain - reshaping traditional artistic techniques for our technologically advanced era. At Ringling College, the Fine Arts Program teaches you the practicalities of painting, sculpture, printmaking and installation art - while encouraging you to develop your own personal style and artistic voice. As you learn to negotiate the balance between content and means of expression, intellect and creativity, you will develop the necessary tools to transform an idea into a work of art.
The Fine Arts department has in place opportunities for our students to apply for special programs in the U.S.: the New York Studio Program; the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design [AICAD] Mobility Program; and abroad, Aix en Provence, France; Pont-Aven, Brittany, France; and, Ballyvaughan, Co., Clare, Ireland.
