Congratulations to Illustration student Corinne Antonelli for winning the United Airlines "Her Art Here" contest! The contest encourages "cisgender, transgender, woman-aligned, and non-binary people to submit original designs to appear on the outside body of a United jet." Corinne was named one of two winners, chosen by a panel of United Airlines executives, along with Tsungwei Moo. As a winner, her artwork will grace the side of a United Airlines Boeing 757 for one year of flights, starting this October. Internationally renowned artist Shantell Martin will recreate their artworks on the side of the planes which will fly year-round, "covering 1.6 million miles in distance over nearly 500 cross-country trips, giving the winners major exposure."
Congrats, Corinne! We will have our eyes to the skies this fall.
