The Art of Giving

For nearly 85 years, Ringling College of Art and Design has cultivated the creative spirit in students from around the globe. Our top priority is creating an inspiring, engaging, and safe environment to shape our students into highly employable and globally aware artists and designers.

We rely on the support and generosity of our friends and community to continue pushing the edge of art and design education and providing the most professional resources and facilities in the industry. And the value of this investment is undeniable - our students emerge as creative leaders who can effectively contribute their talents to the most recognized creative companies and brands around the globe.

8 out of 10 Ringling College students rely on sponsorships to meet the tuition requirements of a world-class art and design institution. Make a difference in the lives of talented, emerging creatives by helping us attract and retain students and provide top quality resources and facilities.

How to Give

Unrestricted Giving

Unrestricted contributions to Ringling College are among the most valuable gifts you can make. These funds are used to bridge the gap between tuition and the costs incurred to deliver a world-class art and design education. Unrestricted funds are designated where the need is greatest and are essential to providing support for academics, faculty, and students.

There is a direct connection between scholarships and enrollment. The more scholarships we can offer our students, the more students who can enroll at Ringling College.

As a scholarship donor, you foster creativity in a student over their lifetime. Effectively, you make their dreams of a preeminent art and design education a reality.

More than 80% of our students qualify for need and merit based support, and most could not attend without assistance from donors.  Your annual contribution to the Student Scholarship Fund will enable Ringling College to award scholarships to deserving students who have demonstrated financial need.

The New Library

The current library at Ringling College was built in 1980 to serve the needs of a few hundred students. Today that same place has to serve more than 1,300 students with more enrolling each year.  Although it has been expanded and renovated over the years, our existing library no longer sufficiently meets the needs of our expanding student body and award-winning collection.  In fact, more than 30% of its collections are stored off site.

Our new library, slated to open in 2016, will be an architectural landmark for Ringling College and the community. Able to house the entire Ringling College collection, this 46,000 square foot facility will house collaborative, customizable work stations, large windows for natural light, a special collections room, cutting-edge digital resources, a cafe, and so much more.

We welcome sponsorships for our Ringling College community events! Each event offers our sponsors incredible exposure and exclusive access to our various friends, patrons, and communities.

Your sponsorship can underwrite any of our exciting events, such as art exhibitions and openings, golf tournaments and our annual premier themed fundraiser, An Evening at the Avant-Garde.
