Longboat Key Center for the Arts and Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota merged in April, 2007 to create an exciting array of educational programs, gallery exhibitions, and events that inspire creativity for the people of the Longboat Key community and beyond. Our location in the historic village of Longboat Key presents an atmosphere of “old Florida” with classes, workshops and retreats in facilities that allow for programming in jewelry, mixed media, water, oil, and acrylic painting, figure drawing, and drawing classes in pastels and pen and ink. We invite you to visit our Center, attend an opening, take a class, and become a contributing member of our artistic community. We look forward to welcoming you and your involvement with the Longboat Key Center of the Arts, a division of Ringling College of Art and Design.
