PRECOLLEGE PERSPECTIVE
PreCollege Perspective is an intensive four-week curriculum where students 16 to 18 years of age build and strengthen their visual art and design skills and broaden their artistic potential while gaining focus on college and career goals. Three elective college credits will be awarded to all first-time students who successfully complete the PreCollege program.

Ringling College faculty will guide you through an exceptional creative exploration. Students will learn contemporary techniques and ways to find creative solutions while building your visual and verbal vocabulary of art and design.
PreCollege Perspective Online Application for 2011 will be available by November 1, 2010.
The Need-Based Grant Application form will be available to download by November 1, 2011.
Application processing begins: November 1, 2010 Need-Based Grant Application deadline: February 28, 2011 PreCollege Perspective Application deadline: April 15, 2011 We have a rolling admissions policy and later applications will be accepted so long as space is available. Applications may also be submitted by mail or fax to 941/955-8801.
PreCollege - Submit a Payment for Balance Due
All PreCollege students are enrolled in five Foundation Studies classes that mirror the first-year experience in an art college. Workshop electives offer insight into specific areas of interest or provide an opportunity to explore a new medium. Workshop electives are assigned based on a student’s choices and date of application to PreCollege. In spring, workshops are filled on a first come, first served system (based on the date of acceptance into PreCollege) therefore Ringling College cannot guarantee a student’s placement into a specific elective workshop.
