Current Exhibition - Summer 2015

July 10–August 5, 2015. Opening Reception Friday, July 10, 5-7 pm. Curator Tour: Wednesday, August 5, 11:30 am

Defining Abstraction is a group exhibition curated by Mark Ormond that features more than 30 contemporary artists working in a variety of media. Since abstract art first made its appearance in the twentieth century, artists have continued to create pure abstract compositions. Today the computer and digital images are part of the process of discovery and execution. The role of the pixel in making and recording images is becoming as ubiquitous as the palette, tube of paint and brush.
