Academic Advising
Ringling College’s academic advising team provides comprehensive academic support designed to help you progress through your major and realize your full potential as an artist.
We use a developmental approach that responds to your changing needs as you gain experience in your field. We combine personal, academic, and career counseling to help you move successfully toward graduation.
Students are invited and encouraged to meet with their academic advisors as often as they would like. At minimum, students are encouraged to schedule a meeting each semester when the new course offerings are released for the following semester (October and March) to both check-in on how the current semester is going and plan for the coming semester.
Some common topics to discuss with an advisor include registration, resources available on campus, the possibility of adding a minor and how that fits in current graduation plan, academic goals, major change process, and potential summer coursework that could transfer to help with degree requirements. The advisor will discuss processes and/or policies in addition to any required forms that would need to be completed.
Academic advising appointments are held via Zoom. Appointments can be scheduled directly with each advisor using the links below.
