When Gracie Kennedy graduated from Ringling College with a degree in Illustration in 2013, she took the creative path into printing. Today, her work appears at some of the most visible events in global sports.

Kennedy, who launched her own T-shirt printing company, TeeLaine, a few years ago, has since been hired by Dallas Cowboys Merchandising as a screen press operator. There, she prints the team’s official jerseys and all of its official merchandise. It’s a distinctive gig: according to Kennedy, the Cowboys are the only NFL team that handles its own garment printing in-house.
This summer, she also helped produce more than 62,000 official match day scarves for this year’s FIFA World Cup. The challenge went beyond sheer volume. Every scarf was printed on demand, live and in real time, as the tournament bracket progressed. Production had to keep pace with the matches themselves, leaving little room for error.
