Ringling College at the 2017 Student Academy Awards!

At the 2017 Student Oscars, two Computer Animation students took home a Gold Academy Award in the
Animation category for their work, In a HeartbeatThis marked the 13th Student Academy Award for Ringling College.

Our programs are globally and nationally ranked!

Bradley Battersby, Department Head of the Film program, named Variety's 2017 Mentor of the Year.

Students working in the Ringling College Design Center won a HOW International Design Outstanding Achievement Award for their work on the Ringling College Viewbook. 

Interior Design students were named winners in the SPC Design Competition for their work with Yonsei University on a collaborative project.




Our Computer Animation students have won a total of 12 Student Academy Awards for their senior thesis films - more than any other school!

Students working in the Ringling College Design Center won a HOW International Design Merit Award for their work on the Ringling College Orientation Pack. 

Two Graphic Design students were profiled as "2017 Students to Watch" in Graphic Design USA.


Two Motion Design students were awarded the Grand Prize Adobe Design Achievement Award for Editing and Post Production.

The Hollywood Reporter recently released it's rankings for the “Top 25 American Film Schools”, naming Ringling College of Art and Design as number 16. Moving up a spot from last year, Ringling College is the youngest film school to make the list.


HGTV's Joe Ruggiero visited the Interior Design major in February.


Our Computer Animation senior thesis films win many awards and honors, such as being accepted into Siggraph's famed Electronic Theater 31 times!

Our Computer Animation program is consistently ranked as one of the top programs in the US. Most recently we were ranked #1 in the South and #3 in the US by Animation Career Review and previously #1 by 3D World Magazine.

Ringling College of Art and Design remains the top performing college in history in the Society of Illustrators’ Annual Student Scholarship Competition. This year, 21 entries from Ringling College Illustration were accepted into the exhibition.




Ringling College Named Among 2016 Top Design Schools by Graphic Design USA

Our Game Art major is ranked #8 Game Design School in the US by Animation Career Review.

Ringling College's ART Network wins Telly Awards for their student produced content and network.




Interior Design Student Wins 2016 National Lighting Competition

A Business of Art and Design student was awarded first place prize for her essay, "Remarkable Stories of Holocaust Rescuers and How to Combat Anti-Semitism Today," by the Tampa Bay Consular Corps. 


Our Motion Design students have won several Gold National Addy Awards for their work.



Two Motion Design students won a D&AD New Blood Wood Pencil (an international design and advertising honor) for their senior project.


A Motion Design student took home a 2017 National Student Silver ADDY for her piece #IamSelfieCat.

A 2017 Game Art graduate was selected as one of five finalists in this year's E3 College Game Competition.



A third year Interior Design student won at this year's Sherwin Williams Student Design Competition. This competition invites Residential and Commercial Design submissions from all over North America.
