Cunniffe Commons

Ringling College’s 28,000-square-foot state-of-the-art dining facility opened in January 2023. The facility, which was designed to meet the highest sustainability standards, is located on the southeast corner of Old Bradenton Road and N. Riverside Drive. It was designed by the architecture firm Ayers Saint Gross and built by Willis A. Smith Construction, Inc. Construction began in the summer of 2021.

The Market, a coffee shop and convenience store that sells grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, snacks, beverages, household essentials, and more, is located just inside the main entrance.

Inside the dining hall area, there are cuisine stations that feature a variety of elevated menu items, including:

• Pure/Delicious Without: Allergen Station that avoids gluten and the top nine allergens 
• Global Grill: Chef Attended Action Station and Grill, preparing meals to order 
• Nourish: Fresh Salad Bar with homemade soups 
• Comfort: Featuring a home-cooked hot bar and a plant-based section serving vegan and vegetarian cuisine 
• Slice: Italian station serving a variety of pizzas, pastas, and featured specials 
• Stack: Made-to-order deli station
• Treat: Assorted bakery items, fruits, and beverages 
• A teaching kitchen, called the Food Lab, that allows Dining Services to conduct private cooking classes, as well as large cooking demonstrations, at no additional cost to the students.

The facility also has designated storage for student portfolios, indoor and outdoor seating, a generous number of electrical outlets spread throughout the space, a second-floor meeting room, a stage, and a large screen that can be used to host events in the space.  Students can use a meal swipe card or pay $8 for breakfast and $12 for lunch/dinner.
