High School Teen Concentrations

Ringling College High School Teen Concentrations offers studio and digital art experiences to high school students eager to elevate their creative skills.

Participants will develop, refine, and explore ways to cultivate their artistic aims. They’ll push their traditional studio techniques, try new digital directions, and combine classic and digital methods to explore mixed and multi-media, printmaking, and more.

HIGH SCHOOL TEEN CONCENTRATIONS 2023

Four weeks of four-Day sessions, Main Campus
(A) June 5-8 (B) June 12-15 (C) June 19-22 (D) June 26-29
Monday through Thursday, 9 am-3 pm
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Students
Students advancing into grades 9-12 and High School ’23 graduates are welcome.
Returning and repeat students are encouraged to advance their skills.

Build your artistic skills. Develop your vision. Shape your portfolio.

Express your creative ideas and stories in classical and fantastical ways, using traditional and digital media. Be influenced by other artists and share your same passion to create. This is your time to be in Ringling College’s state-of-the-art studios and digital labs.

PARENTS: Visit Sarasota this summer to give your students an exceptional creative experience, while you enjoy the rooftop pool and lunch at Art Ovation, a partner in the arts in the heart of downtown on the bayfront, or checkout other local hotels for your stay.

Concentrate on your creativity this summer! 

Supplies: Students bring your sketchbook, pencil, and eraser. Class supplies are provided. Bring preferred supplies if you wish. See course descriptions online for clothing requirements and optional supply list links.

Box Lunch will be provided daily during week A. Students will dine with their class in Cunniffe Commons during weeks B, C, and D. Indicate food allergies here.

2023 Program

Students may choose from any of the following four-day sessions:

(A) June 5-28
(B) June 12-15
(C) June 19-22
(D) June 26-29

Classes run from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday, and are held in the College’s state-of-the-art studios and digital labs on the Ringling College Main Campus, 2700 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.

Registration opens April 1. All registrations received before May 21 receive a 10 percent discount.
